Assignment: Design a C-bar that deflects exactly half an inch under a 200 lb applied force.

The designing for this assignment was done on SolidWorks, and it was checked mathematically using Castigliano's Theorem for analysis. The final product was fabricated and tested using an Instron testing machine in Bray Labs at Tufts University.
